Stop Suffering and Get Satellite TV

There's really no remedy to the TV-viewer blues like a satellite TV subscription. Whatever complaints you may have about your cable-or, heaven forbid, regular broadcast TV-service, you'll be pleasantly surprised to see that, with satellite, none of them will be valid any longer. Whether it's more variety in your programming, more high definition, or better customer support, you'll be taken care of.

I didn't think I was ready for the 1000+ TV channel universe, but I don't regret the decision at all. Quite the contrary, since a lot of what is on is interesting, informational, and entertaining. I get so much international programming, which is great for getting to know other countries' cultures. Also, I get a lot of great educational and/or simply illuminating content, like I had always wanted. I'm a lot happier about the prospect of what my children are watching, since there are great channels completely dedicated to educating kids, like Discovery Kids and the Learning Channel.

And I have finally been able to keep on top of my favorite sports leagues, something which I previously had to either go to a bar or straight to the stadium to accomplish. Cool optional packages like the NFL Sunday Ticket have revolutionized the way in which I view sports: I'm now a reliable source of stats that friends and kids in the neighborhood are taking advantage of. I choose my favorite players and teams to follow and get great updates, like big play alerts. And, since satellite is just so good, I get to watch all the games that are going on throughout the country, not just the ones in my area. I can even watch up to eight games at a time, so that I don't miss any action.

Then, the fact that I'm watching all of this in high def is astonishing. In fact, I'm watching just about everything in high def these days! With over 130 channels in astonishingly crisp quality, I've forgotten all about standard definition viewing. And it's not just games I'm watching in high def, but movies, shows, and awesome documentaries like Discovery Channel's Planet Earth miniseries...I've been moved by this experience, and I'll never be going back.

And as far as customer support is concerned, I am amazed at how efficient and kind it is. Though I hardly need it at all, given that since installing my service a few years back I've never once had any problems. In fact, the only reason I've called was to order more optional packages on to my service!

It's just a whole different universe, and a better one. If you really want to kick things up a notch, in addition to going satellite, you should put in an HD DVR. Skip commercials, record tons of content, record more than one thing at a time, and pause live TV no matter what you're watching or when. Change your whole TV experience for the better, for ever. Stop the suffering, and start discovering what things you never knew your tube could give you.
