Who Has The Best Dish Deal, Offering HD and 3D Programs?

Dish Network or DirecTv and what does this mean to you? With the whole new 3D era that we are now entering, how does all of this play out for you and your new equipment? Where will your money serves the best and get you the best deal on HD and 3D program content?

I think you should first start with knowing exactly what you want from your satellite service provider? Cart out your needs vs. your wants. What type of programs are you looking for in the content? Do a quick survey as to what type of content you desire and what type of technology can your equipment handle or require?

Dish Network is great, if you are not interested in 3D television programming. If, you're looking for the standard satellite services, with national network broadcast, HBO, Showtime and the like in HD. Both Dish Network and DirecTv can provide great content.

However for special sports packages like the NFL ticket, access to all the Major League Baseball games, the ESPN3 (ESPN3D) special broadcast events or anything in spectacular 3D. DirecTv is the only current choice; the other networks are not offering any 3D of any kind at the moment.

Looking from only the economic standpoint dish network really provides an excellent service. The biggest difference between Dish Network and DirecTv is the type of premium channel content you may desire.

3D, DirecTv has this market cornered on sports and with the 3D programming content. Take those two factors out of the equation and then we have a level playing field. Both satellite networks do a very good job of providing the pay preview premium content and special events.

Dish Network and DirecTv offers free installation for up to four standard rooms. Make no mistake both dish offers are really identical, up to a point. Any special work associated with additional rooms, relocating or adding new cable outlets, wall fish are all chargeable services at time of installation.

If for some reason you need additional equipment of anything special that it is not taken care of at the time of installation. Plan to pay for that service in most cases up front.

That being said, Dish HD and DitecTv HD are really the same for the most part. As least from the program content stand point. In this I mean the technology behind the way the service is delivered at the consumer's home varies from one provider to the other. The two companies have a different equipment format that affects the requirements of the technical at time of installation.

Ensure your comparison is apples to apples and oranges to oranges, a basic subscription at dish network or at DirecTv are basically the same. Once the consumer starts looking at the premium packages the prices start to take on a dramatic change.

Dish Network prices are more economic, but the premium prices at DirecTv is for premium programming content that you will not get anywhere else. So, in short both providers offer the best dish deal for their prospective subscriber based on the needs of the prospective subscription.

DISH Network offers over 200 channels in high definition currently. Being an employee I know that no other provider can compete with that. Not to mention being the only pay TV company offering this to new AND existing customers. After I switched over to DISH I got the true HD experience, even Video On Demand movies go up to 1080p picture quality.
